Documents tell the story of the cargo. When the invoice, packing list, transport record and permits tell different stories, the operation loses speed.
The core file
The commercial invoice describes the transaction, the packing list describes the physical shipment, and the bill of lading or air waybill records transport. Product-specific evidence is added as required.
Small errors with large effects
Differences in legal name, currency, units, weight, package count or model can trigger corrections. Generic descriptions also make validation harder.
Document control
Use one approved final version and a clear owner for each document.
- Master checklist
- Consistent file names
- Cross-check quantities and weights
- Approve drafts
- Archive the final file
AGLO coordinates supplier, client and operating participants around one consistent shipment file.
